Chipping away... Jewellery and Drawings

I've been on holidays recently, and as most of my holidays go, I had great big plans and of course, barely got half of them done. :p
Just a quick update of what is currently on my workbench and what I have actually finished. :)

My current workbench as of this blog post! This is actually a few different pieces in progress. ;)

A finished cuff. This should be up for sale on my Etsy store soon.

A cuff in progress. I'm addicted to Euro 4 in 1!

A finished set in silvered enamelled copper and lampwork beads for a family friend. Byzantine weave.

And lastly, my ATC's for the Doodle Project Project round 13! All finished and mailed out. :D

Have I posted these yet?

I can't remember if I've posted these or not yet so... here they are. Possibly again lol.

This one's for sale (the original drawing) at my Etsy store: Here.

Trying Out a New Vendor

I've decided to close my Artfire shop and move it to Handmade Artists:

http://handmadeartists.com/shop/MVSilva

As much as I loved the Artfire community, it just wasn't working out for me, perhaps it was my fault, perhaps not, either way, my time with them has come to an end.
The new site has the same books in it that the old site did and I should have some new, as yet unseen, ones up there soon. Wish me luck!

My jewellery shop is still at the same place, by the way XD (shameless plug is shameless)

Intro to Painting at Griffith QCA

Some of the painting works I've completed for my mid-semester critique (and the reason I've been neglecting poor blog).
The smaller works are based on my parents Chilean Cafe at Hope Island on the Gold Coast, the larger ones are abstractions of boxes, buildings and a local park.
Eeeeh, acrylics are so different to watercolour!

I'm not much of a painter normally, (my housemate says I was a cranky biatch the whole time I was painting these ^_^) but lately I've found myself getting the urge to paint more...
